Should I Include My Publishing Company Name When Adding Myself as a Writer?

Yes! You can include this information when you add yourself as a songwriter

While you are not required to setup a publishing entity at your Performing Rights Organization (PRO), if you already have one, we can include this information with your song registrations. You will have the option to include your publishing company information when you add your songwriters.

We recommend that you include your publishing company name if your titles are previously registered, or if you would like your company name to be part of the registration. Otherwise, it is not necessary because Songtrust is acting on behalf of your business.

If you do not already have an established publishing entity, there is no need to establish one while using Songtrust.
