Where Do I Add Publisher and Writer Splits?

You can tweak our default settings while adding a song.

As your publishing administrator, Songtrust registers compositions with your Performing Rights Organization (PRO) as soon as you add them to your account. During this process, we also ask whether you’d like to keep Songtrust’s default publisher/writer splits or edit them to reflect the ownership ratios of each song.

If your publisher share is a different percentage than your writer share, please let us know by using our Support Form to submit a ticket and reach our Client Services Team. You can find this form by logging into your account and finding the link on your client dashboard. We will ensure your splits are entered properly.
