It depends on when the sync occurred.
Songtrust can only track sync placements that occur within our agreement. We are unable to track royalties for syncs that were licensed or aired before you signed up with us.
Any royalties generated from residual use — television TV broadcast, for instance — would be considered performance or mechanical royalties. As your publishing administrator, we can collect these royalties on your behalf and distribute them in your quarterly statement.
If you would like to submit a synchronization that took place within your agreement, please use our Support Form to submit a ticket and reach our Client Services Team. You can find this form by logging into your account and finding the link on your client dashboard.
