Do You Collect Synchronization Royalties?

Yes, Songtrust does collect sync royalties.

Songtrust collects backend royalties for synchronizations, and also offers to process synchronization licenses and collect upfront payments for new deals.

We don't take exclusive sync rights, so our clients are free to procure licenses as they see fit, and keep 100% of any upfront fees they negotiate. Any royalties generated from the use would be considered performance or mechanical, and we would be able to collect all of those on your behalf.

If you would like us to negotiate and paper a sync license on your behalf, we will happily do so for our regular 15% commission, in which case we'd collect the sync fees on your behalf and distribute them to you in your quarterly royalty statement. You can submit details via our Support Form.
