What Is The Quebec Collective Society for the Rights of Makers of Sound and Video Recordings (SOPROQ)?

SOPROQ, which now goes by Panorama, is a non-profit organization that exists to administer creators' royalties. Its mission is to ensure that the makers of sound and video recordings benefit fully from certain rights to which they are entitled: reproduction rights, equitable remuneration rights, and the right arising from the private copying regime. It should be noted that Panorama collects on the master recordings, not the publishing, and is completely separate from Songtrust.
Panorama also administers the granting of general licenses for music videos and for sound recording reproduction.

Panorama repertoire is represented internationally by the following organizations:

SCPP (France),

SoundExchange (United States)

SIMIM (Belgium, Luxembourg)

SENA (Netherlands)
