What Is "Bootlegging"?

Bootlegging is an illegal practice.

Bootlegging is the unauthorized recording and selling of a song. An example of this would be if someone purchased an album they did not have a hand in creating, burned it to multiple CD's, and then sold them for profit.

Bootlegging is a violation of copyright law, illegal, and punishable by law.
