Songtrust delivers all of your ISRC information to YouTube’s Content ID System, which enables us to automatically claim videos that use your music.
If a video meets YouTube’s current eligibility requirements — like that the video must be on a channel that has at least 1,000 subscribers, 4,000 hours of watch time over the past 12 months, live in a country/region where the YouTube Partner Program is available, and have a linked Adsense account — a claim will place an advertisement on the video. This helps us monetize it on your behalf and prevents the uploader from monetizing the video themselves.
Unfortunately, we cannot assist with takedown notices. If you would like a video that uses your music removed from the platform entirely, please reach out to YouTube directly to request a takedown.
