Once you join Songtrust, you should register songs directly into your account, and not with your Performing Rights Organization (PRO). This avoids potential matching or merging conflicts that could delay collections when we send in your registrations. The administration of any songs that were registered with your PRO before you joined Songtrust can be switched over to us once you add them to your Songtrust account.
The purpose of publishing administration is registration, maintenance, and royalty collection for your compositions. You begin by adding writers and songs into your account, then we take care of the rest, including sending your registrations to a network of more than 60 pay sources around the world.
