Why Aren’t My Registered Songs Appearing In SOCAN’s Repertoire Search?

They need to generate royalties first.

SOCAN’s public repertoire only shows works that have generated royalties within Canada. If your songs haven’t appeared in the public search yet, that means they have not started earning publishing royalties.

However, you should still see your song registrations in your private SOCAN account. And your songs will appear in SOCAN’s public repertoire search as soon as they rack up some royalties.

Check out our Five Publishing Royalties You May Be Missing Out On post to ensure you’re making the most of all your potential pay sources.
