Songtrust clients always keep 100% of their copyrights. We exercise the rights our clients grant us to license their works to collection sources around the world during our term.

This sets us apart from traditional publishing agreements, which often ask songwriters to relinquish some (if not all) of their copyrights, sometimes in perpetuity. By keeping 100% of your copyrights, you remain in creative control of your songs, and maintain control of how your works are used.

At the end of the day, Songtrust is your publishing administrator, which means we register songs and collect royalties on your behalf. At no stage do we claim any ownership or shares of your songs.
