      Do I Need to Add Stage Names or Aliases to My Songtrust Account?

      Keep it legal.

      The only name we need to set up your Songtrust account is the legal songwriter name associated with your Performing Rights Organization (PRO) account. 

      If you are looking to incorporate stage names or aliases, you can do so in the Add A Recording section on the songs page of your account. Your artist name will then be added to every song you add recording information for.

      If you are already affiliated with a PRO under something other than your legal name, you must enter it and your IPI number exactly as it is listed with your PRO.
