A  synchronization license (also known as a sync license) is a license granted by the owner or composer of a particular work. The license allows the licensee or purchaser the right to use the music in a visual piece, such as a movie, video game, or commercial. Syncs have their own royalty stream, which you can learn about here.

Here at Songtrust, we do not take any synchronization rights, so you are free to procure these as you wish without our interference. We will forward and requests to you directly. If you would like help papering the deal, we would be happy to do so for our standard 15% commission.
