Does Songtrust take any ownership of my music?

Last Updated: Jun 20, 2014 10:40AM EDT
Songtrust clients always keep 100% of their copyrights. This is unlike many traditional publishing agreements, in which songwriters can be asked to give up some (if not all) of their copyrights. By keeping 100% of your copyrights, you remain in creative control of your songs and can claim your full share of any royalties owed.

Songtrust simply acts as your publishing administrator, which means we're allowed to register songs and collect royalties on your behalf. At no stage do we claim any ownership.
